Forgotten Fragment and Farming
Yes it is. In the registration, indicate in the remarks section which is your main. The character will have the exact progress level as your main. It is fine to keep your Discord ID as your main IGN, however, if you wish to change it, that's fine as well. To change your IGN, go to the Settings Channel and use Hrothbot again. If that does not work, feel free to contact the staff via Hrothbot or using #Help-Desk
Scenario one: A reclearer wish to pilot a friend's account to get the cerberus mount on a reclear run.
Scenario two: A reclearer wish to pilot a friend's account, which progress level should he use?
Piloting account goes against the ToC and if any player found exploiting this can face in-game consequences. While we would not report against these actions, it's best to stay clear from these situations. Now in DRSC, we only look at that player's (IGN) progress level. We don't look at the pilot's progress status or if they are recleared status.
Yes please by all means. Having players familiar with both sides will help the organizer to allocate members in the different teams. In worse case scenario, the organizing team can skip players down the list if they cannot allocate them by slimes / golems.
Yes it is, just bear in mind it is limited to how we arrange the party. Party composition for majority of the teams are: Two Tanks, One Pure Healer, One Shield Healer, One Melee, One Ranged, One Caster and One any-DPS. If the group of friends have three Melees, one member might be added into a different team. So please keep this in mind. Should any member(s) of the group progress further than the others, we will not seed the lower progress member into a higher progress status. In Boss 3 onwards, every player will need to resolve individual mechanics.
In the registration form, there is an option to fill up for a Group sign-up. Please only indicate 1 player's name (Preferably the leader), or FC name or tag. We use a filter to find the single name or FC tag and use that to group the players up.
You could try asking the mod via Hrothbot. We could have overlooked it, so we apologize for our human error. There are situations were we have to split the group/friends up due to party composition. If you receive a Hrothbot DM on that, please cooperate with us. After all, you all are still participating in the same DRS raid, just in different teams.
Scenario One: You are Golems all good only. Your friend is Golems all good only. Both members are only good one side and not the other, it is challenging to put you both together.
Scenario Two: You are a SMN, and your friend is also a SMN. You both cannot play other Jobs or at least not indicated in the registration/roster. We avoid placing two same jobs in the party due to the over-writing of buffs and building up Healer Limit Break 3 (A better Raising option)
There is an acknowledgement in our sign-up forms, indicating that if you are not contactable or reachable 15 minutes before the commencement of the raid, you will be removed. However, we understand if external circumstances may cause you to be late, such as:
Arriving home soon (from work, meals, etc)
Other sudden changes (urgent matters, personal/family matters, etc)
Should anything requires your attention, please let us know early that you will be arriving late and we will try our best to accommodate your schedule. So yes, you can join in less than 15 minutes before the raid start if you have informed the organizer ahead of time.
However, when the organizer cannot reach you by the cut-off timing, your slot will be removed. Should this occur, you would not be allowed to join the PF (even if you remember which party you belong to). The Moderator hosting the PF will have to remove you as you have already forfeited your slot and you will need to register again for the next available run of your progress level.
Unfortunately, there is a list we keep track of players who fail to turn up without informing us prior [goes straight into our pepega list where all the naughty children are]. If you frequently shows up later or always have a reason to miss the scheduled raid, we do take a note of that. [not in the pepega-list but we'll take note that you tend be absent, if it happens too often].
If you inform us way ahead of the raid, yes you may! We have Moderators who signs up to be on reserve. They can take your slot for the 1st pull and when you're ready, you can join us on 2nd pull.
Inform the organizer on Hrothbot.
State the timing your available and the reason why you can't make it. We all understand you've got to attend to that first. Please let us know at least, don't need too much info.
Once you are back, immediately join the VC. Even though you're not in the run, you can always watch a Moderator streaming or it could be streamed live in Discord. This also informs you when they are coming out and you can be on standby.
Similar to the question above, we can do the same. Step 1 and 2 remains the same, but in Step 3: you'll leave and a reserve or Moderator will take your slot.
In both scenarios, we like you to get as much practice time as possible. Do keep us informed and we can sort it out together.
