FYI, this is obtained via our #announcement channel. Let me summarize the important information in relevance to 6.x onwards.
A: In order to allow everyone to experience the content, we are currently catering to those most applicable to that particular progression level. We progressively host runs starting from Fresh to Boss 2 to Boss 4 and finally a reclear. We'd like to give everyone a chance at least to try first so if you're being left out or not assigned for the run - wait! There might be a reserve spot! So we hope that you can be on standby till the run starts.
We are prioritizing the runs according to the levels:
Fresh + B1 Practice
B1 Practice + B1 A2C + B2 Practice
B2 Prac + B2 A2C + B3 Prac
B2 A2C + B3 Prac <-- We can include B3 A2C
(This is when the filter starts. At this point, any player with B2 experience and below will not be selected.)
B3 Prac + B3 A2C + Mino Prac
B3 A2C + Mino Prac + B4 Prac
B4 Prac + B4 A2C + Reclear (Mino Practice and Reclear players may register too)
Reclear only. (B4 A2C may register and subjected to organizer's decision to allocate you)
Here's a scenario: Player A signed up with a group of friends. A's progress level is Boss 3, while the friends are recleared. Player A will not be seeded into the fight.
A: The difference between Practice and A2C is the proficiency in the player's performance. Proficiency is measured by the following criteria: survivability, consistent usage of Lost Actions and death count.
Practice
Players who needs more time to understand how to resolve the mechanics.
Players who died multiple times (more than or equal to 2). Seeing enrage is not A2C standard.
Players who do not use appropriate Lost Actions
Aim-to-clear
Players who understand all the mechanics and how to handle it.
We understand if you made a human error.
Players who have a death count: 0-1.
Players who fully utilize the appropriate Lost Actions.
A: Please don't!! We use the number of people at each progression level as an estimate of what to plan for the weeks ahead depending on who/what we have left out. If you understate your progress, not only will you affect potentially 47 other members but also yourself as your chances as well as from getting something suitable for you.
If you're feeling uncomfortable with how far your body may have gotten dragged through, then it is perfectly understandable to say in the remarks or to downgrade your progression level that you are comfortable with. More importantly, you should get as much practice as possible with an honest progression level.
Scenario #1: You got body carried to Boss 3 somehow, although you were on the floor in Boss 2 for 70% of the fight due to failing mechanics feelsbadman. In this case, being honest to yourself, and stating that you are still at Boss 2 is entirely fair and valid to yourself and to the general community.
Scenario #2: You are body carried in Boss 2 with 70% of the fight on the floor. You had experience Boss 3 and saw enrage. You decided to put B3 A2C in the next sign-up. In this case, overstating your progress may create a limbo where you will not be accepted into any B3 fights; but only qualify for a B2 Practice.
When a raid is hosted for B2 Practice, players with the honest progression level will be given priority. However, being a B3 A2C, you will not be selected too. Do yourself a favour and be honest. If you need help understanding which progression level you are at, DM Hrothbot.
A: Yes! That will be great! Having players who are exposed and experienced in different perspectives will help in allocation into teams. However, do keep in mind that we may bring someone new (if it is a fresh priority) into the fight.
Being proficient in Slimes and Golems is great too! Healers and Tanks in Slimes and Golems have very different responsibilities so it is good that you know how to handle everything.
