Banner of Noble Ends
Affinity: Tank, Melee, Ranged, Caster, Healer.Banner of Noble Ends
This Lost Action buff any Role with additional DPS for a significant amount of time. The huge drawback is the player will not receive any healing in the duration of the buff. Whilst this could be possible for Bosses #1 and #2, Noble Ends can be the reason why players often find themselves dead in Boss #3 and 4.
The raidwide mechanic in Boss #3 and #4 inflicts a Bleed that cannot be cleansed. It must be mitigated properly. During which the player can potentially bleed themselves to death. The timing to use Banner of Noble Ends become something all players must bear in mind before using it. So imagine every time there's a raidwide but you're healers are not topping you up? That's not because the healer's are sleepy but it's most likely you've got Banner of Noble Ends on.
Fun Fact: Every time Noble Ends is ready to use, it's is right before a raidwide and within your buff window. So is it worth it bleeding to death? That's for you to decide. There are a lot of window for additional DPS post bleed, and that's when Noble Ends can be applied. Only down side is, it'll probably not link up with your buff window.
In conclusion, can you use Banner of Noble Ends as an alternative to your secondary duty action? Yes you can! Bearing in mind on which phase of the fight you're in, Noble Ends can be a double-edge sword. Just be nice to your healer, okay? Unless you're a Healer then we'll leave you to decide.
Lost Excellence
Affinity: All DPSCapacity: 25 (Heavy)Lost Excellence
The buff comes in two phases, the first is similar to Hallowed Ground for 10s and the second grants additional boost in DPS. The huge drawback is this ability has a very long cooldown timer.
In DRS, you can only use one Lost Excellence per boss fight. When a DPS combines both Font of Power/Magic with a Banner, the overall DPS output in the burst phases will be higher than Lost Excellence.
Resistance Elixir
Affinity: Tank, Melee, Ranged, Caster, HealerCapacity: 4 (Moderate)Cooldown: 90sResistance Elixir
The powerful elixir that heals HP and MP to full. Looks powerful but really it's not. The only time you'll ever use it is when your Resistance Reraiser actually procs. Should you receive a successful Lost Arise or Healer LB3, your HP and MP are already at 100%.
It's better to utilize your capacity with either more Reraiser or an alliance utility like Protect II / Shell II.
