Using Hrothbot

Big credits to our big meow: Gallant for developing Hrothbot.

Hrothbot is a tool or sole proprietary bot that Moderators and Co-Moderators use to communicate to the community. Whilst it keeps an anonymous identity, a Mod may introduce themselves via the bot when needed.

Let us know:

If you might be late for a scheduled run, or you cannot make due to external factors.
Request for fflog link. Please avoid posting the link in #general chat.
Request for permission to post an entry in the #lfm-sub channel, for members to join your static as a reserve.
Making amendments to the registration for raid day.

Benefit of using Hrothbot?

We have a channel where Hrothbot will communicate to. All Mods and Co-Mods can view this channel, and reply you. Yes, this speeds up the inquiry since any Mod/Co-Mod can respond.

Hrothbot will DM

Treat this like a regular DM. You may contact the Moderator Team like a customer support. Avoid DMing a Moderator/Co-Mod as they might not be the right person to approach.

Getting a Reply

Yes, we use reply or @ping to communicate with you. Oh your Discord ID will be displayed, so we do know who we are talking to.

Organizers use Hrothbot to find replacement for a scheduled run. If you receive a DM/ping, just reply as per normal.

Feel free to reach out to us when you need any inquiry or assistance. If the info can be posted in the discussion channel, please use that instead. It can benefit other players who might have the same questions as you.
