The key difference between Resistance Reraiser and Lost Reraise is that Lost Reraise has an 80% chance players can be revived when KO - as compared to the Resistance Reraiser, an item that only has a 70% chance. More info is covered on the Lost Reraise page.
In the older guide, Lost Mimic is highly sought after by DPS because of the very limited holster slots back when DRS was in Rank 15. In Patch 5.45, Zadnor was introduced, increasing the holster capacity up to 99 Action Weight. The Garlaen Synthetic Fiber also became a commonly found item throughout the content. Thus, Lost Mimic is indeed a Forgotten Fragment of Caprice.
Lost Mimic is an interesting action that copies a targeted player's active Duty Action into your Duty Action slots with full charges. We've got a page on a detailed write-up about Lost Mimic, so do check it out.
Light Curtain is an Item that can be placed into your Holster. When used, it takes 1 GCD and applies Reflect on yourself. In our latest guide, we hope that DPS with Light Curtain can help with reflecting the Maelstrom Orbs spawned in Boss 4. It will create a safe place for DPS to stand in which also safe from a sure-kill Lightning Strike. This Lightning Strike can kill players and ignore the Transcendence buff.
If you are a Healer, look at the Healer-section where more details are explained regarding Light Curtain vs Lost Reflect.
Technically, you can use the Elixir but it has more cons than pros. Firstly, it has a very long cooldown and likely you won't be using this very often. Secondly, you should consider the Action Weight of your holster. If you have not checked out our holster guides, take a look at our Freshies and B2 holsters here. You'll see that the Holster space is maximized by essential Lost Actions and Item-Related for the raid.
Lost Arise, Lost Sacrifice and Healer Limit Break 3 restores HP and MP to full upon success. Only a Reraiser's proc will heal with minimal points. If you're a Caster and you're afraid of OOM situations, you should actually have Resistance Ether Kit in your holster (again these are in our B2 holster guides). If you're a Healer, you'll need to time your GCD choices and wait for Lucid Dreaming or use a single Super-Ether potion.
Affinity: All Jobs
While the buff increases damage dealt by 50%, the drawback is you will not receive any form of heals. The only way to replenish your HP is by using WHM's Benediction. BoNE is a suitable replacement only if you are aware of the mechanics and its timeline.
In Boss 1 and Boss 2 fights, BoNE can be used before raidwide as there are long windows for post healing to be done. However, in Boss 3 and 4, all raidwide will inflict bleed. If you have BoNE active and the healers cannot heal your HP lost, you could eventually bleed to death.
(In DRSC organized run) In such situations, we will consider this as part of your B3/B4 progress death count.
The only suitable window for BoNE to be used in these fights is when the Bleed's countdown timer reaches 2 seconds. Timing your usage is extremely crucial as you may not have a WHM that is willing to use Benediction on you each time you use BoNE.
Affinity: Physical Damage Jobs. (Tank, Melee, P.Ranged)
For Melees: This Action is compulsory for Melees assigned to Free DPS or do not have Rend Armor duty.
For Tanks: In B1-B2, you should consider using this as a buff for your 2-minute DPS rotation.
For Ranged: Consider using this after you are done with your Perception duties. Using Lost Font of Power boost total raid damage, which means killing boss faster and seeing less mechanics.
To Warriors, you may consider keeping Lost Font of Power as your primary buff for your DPS rotation window.
Pure Essence of the Duelist: Increased damage dealt by 55%, duration increased to 30s & HP drains at 1HP/tick. All Melees must have Banner of Honored Sacrifice as their primary buff. In summary, majority of the Melees will be carrying both BoHS and LFoP in their Duty Action for the entirety of the raid.
For Tanks: No change in the effects, except that Tanks can handle the HP bleed with Pure Essence. With defensive oGCD on cooldown, you can easily use this without suffering too much damage or life lost.
Tanks, similar to Melee, may use both Lost Font of Power and Banner of Honored Sacrifice as buffs during their 2 minute rotation.
As you can see in it's tooltip, Rend Armor is a debuff applied onto the target(s) that increases damage taken. There can only be one debuff at a time. With the cooldown at 60s, and a debuff duration of 30s each, only two players will be required for Lost Rend Armor duty.
All other Melees should bring Banner of Honored Sacrifice and Lost Font of Power. This is to maximize the Lost Action usage and raid management.
Although we are a pug-based community, we plan the raid with detail and strategy and we hope you adhere to our standards. To make it short, if you ignore our warning/instructions, you will be de-prioritized in future runs.
For MCH: Yes you may! Remember to pair it up with Reassemble too. However as a MCH, please also use Lost Dervish as this buff is beneficial to the entire party.
For WAR: Sorry, with the latest patch update, Inner Release only affect skills that uses Wrath Gauge; thus Lost Slash bonus potency will no longer apply to Warriors.
Triple potency when it is a critical hit is very tempting but sadly only MCH will benefit from it. No, DRG please don't use this with Life Surge, you deal more damage with FOP and BOHS together.
Yes you may. Blood Rage has a significant boost each time you use a gap-closer ability. However, there are times you can't use it due to upcoming mechanics, so plan your Blood Rage usage.
DRK benefits from this the most as the MP regeneration is huge, allowing the usage of oGCD that consumes MP.
All Tanks should consider bringing this. Using Lost Sacrifice can be very useful in situations where you need to save your party by raising your healers in Limit Break 3. It is a very niche situation and should be used at precise moments.
If you are a Sub Tank in the team, inform your MT that you'll be using Lost Sacrifice, and they should take over your duty like using Aethershield, if you get Doomed.
However, remind your Healers to wait for you to die if Doom was inflicted, then use the Limit Break 3 to raise you when Reraiser also fail to save you. (Double ouch).
As a Sub Tank, you should bring up to 3 Lost Aethershield in your holster. This would be sufficient in B4, if you see the soft enrage.
Resistance Medkit is an item-related found in your cache and has the same effects (in this case) with the regular item Antidote. You may bring a Medkit with you in your holster however, Antidote works just fine.
You will be using this for poison traps located in the encounter and mainly in Minotaur Trash. Using an Antidote will help you stay alive if your Healer isn't aware of your status. (I know, they still exist).
Use Antidote (item) instead as this will free up your holster slot. Antidotes can be bought from merchants or crafted. You can use Grand Company Seals to get them.
