Prepare, prepare, prepare. Every member has a role to play. Several members have asked where do they get the fragments, or what is the farming strategy. We've prepared a farming guide (really it's in the channels, go check it!). Well since you are reading this now, these are some suggested strategies to use when farming for fragments.
Killing any 4th Legion magiteks will have a drop chance of getting Bozja Clusters. These can be easily found across both Bozja Southern Front (BSF) or Zadnor. Zadnor having a lot more locations that spawns them and spread them far part so players cannot over pull. Zadnor's 4th Legion mobs respawn quickly, so up time to kill is faster.
Bozjan Clusters is a primary resource in exchanging for Fragments. All the Pure Essences are obtained best using cluster exchange. Healers and dispel-players too may consider using clusters to get Ingenuity and Caution.
Primary Action: Lost Flare Star
Secondary Action: Lost Burst
Essence: D. Essence / Essence of the Breathtaker.
Secondary buff: Auto-Potion has a 20% chance of ending upon usage.
Active Buff: Resistance Potion Kit.
This setup can be expensive or time-consuming as you will need to appraise multiple Forgotten Fragments of Care. The item you would like to obtain is the Resistance Potion Kit.
Stay in Umbral Ice stance. The main purpose is to have constant MP regen. Renew your stance using Umbral Soul when needed. Friendly tip: do not greed the cast between Flarestar and Umbral Soul. Flarestar is a GCD with a longer CD timer.
Use Lost Flare Star or Scathe to aggro the mobs.
Gather the mobs into a cluster, use Lost Burst to apply a debuff that increases damage taken on the mobs, and then use Lost Flare Star.
Repeat using Lost Flare Star until all of them are dead.
Save Swiftcast for Blizzard III when your Umbral Ice stance expires.
Tank's Essence: D. Essence / Essence of the Bloodsucker
Tank's Primary Action: Lost Spellforge
Tank's Secondary Action: Lost Paralysis III / Lost Bravery
Healer's Essence: D. Essence / Essence of the Templar
Healer's Primary Action: Lost Seraph Strike
Healer's Secondary Action: Lost Burst (because the faster you kill, the better your Tank survives)
Tank's setup is pretty straight forward. In most situations tanks, especially Warriors, can solo with a Deep Essence of the Bloodsucker. Lost Spellforge and Bravery increases the damage dealt which in return, leech damage for more HP recovery. Yes, the more the tank gathers up, the more HP they heal up too.
Healers, if your Tank is competent to maintain HP very well most of the time, you can consider going as Profane. Hear me out why I suggest Templar, alright? In the first place, I suggested White Mage and not Healer role is primarily because of Afflatus Misery. Yes, that hard hitting ability is what you'll be relying on. So charge up your Blood Lily!
Build up your Blood Lily.
Regen your Tank to be in combat all the time to build up charges. Just use up your Afflatus heals whenever.
Once Tank gathers all the mobs, use Lost Seraph Strike.
Immediately, use Lost Burst.
Cast Afflatus Misery and Assize at the same time.
Watch everything disappear.
Profane can do a good job but if you mess up the timing, you might have some still alive and hitting you. Healers build so much aggro by using this combination that Tanks can struggle to take it off you. With the changes on 6.0 Nascent Flash, maybe you'll survive better but who knows. Thus using Templar is safer since there are defensive buff to it.
Similar to how Solo Black Mage work, this combination will have the BLM to be using Skirmisher instead.
BLM's Essence: D. Essence / Essence of the Skirmisher
BLM's Primary Action: Lost Flare Star
Healer's Essence: D. Essence / Essence of the Templar
Healer's Primary Action: Lost Seraph Strike
Unlike the tank's strategy where they can pull mobs into one location, use their CD and kill them. BLM is consistently on the move. So with this strategy, the healer needs to be mobile too.
This method speaks for itself. White Mages on Deep Essence of the Profane and do high burst damage in an AOE, killing the mobs quickly. The only catch is you need to build up your Blood Lily.
